Saddest Fictional TV Moment?
Watched the last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth tonight and that last scene as they go over the top and the screen fades to a field of poppies still hits quite hard especially for a comedy.

John Sullivan also had a great ability to go from comedy to drama in OFAH.

So what's your saddest fictional TV moment?

He should be dead but it probably wouldn't be the wisest move, franchise wise, to kill him off

Ok, now I'm thinking he doesn't die and it was a joke?

But now I know he doesn't die, that's a spoiler!

I suppose I apologise to Jon and Trevor B.

Wasn't a sad moment but a happy sad moment.

In OFAH. When rodney buys del the rolls Royce and he gives del the keys.

Then they drive to the pub and get a round of drinks and they ask for some sandwiches and Rodney goes to pay.

Del says no Rodney I will buy the sandwiches, as you bought the rolls...

Touching good rather than sad

I didn't realise that "Highway to Heaven" was a porn show.

Ring of Bright Water is a good call. If movies are allowed then I'd say the gorgeous Ali McGraw's demise in Love Story must be up there.

Trevor B

I've had a little think, and yes, to post up a massive spoiler of a film that has only just been released is a bit cuntish.

Especially on a thread that has nothing to do with films.

You think differently?
